Accents is located in Hattiesburg, MS! Our store front is open on Monday-Friday from 10-5 and Saturday from 10-3. All web orders are processed from our store! Have any questions? Feel free to email us at info@accentshomeandgifts.com or call us at 601.584.4550 with any questions about your order.

Orders are shipped Monday through Friday, and are usually shipped from our store within 1-2 business days of your order being placed. You will receive an email when your order has been shipped with tracking information.

Once the order is shipped, we are at the mercy of the shipping carrier. Please be understanding that while we work hard to get orders to you as quickly as possible, when it moves to the shipping carrier, we must follow their shipping procedures.

  • If you have questions about your tracking, here’s a few things you can do:
  • Tracking number won’t update- your package may be delayed in transit. Give it a few days to update, and then contact your carrier to locate the package. 
  • Package says delivered, but you can’t find it- check with your neighbors, family, mailman, front desk and other doors at your delivery address to see if it may have been delivered to the wrong address. If your package doesn’t arrive after a couple of days, reach out to your local carrier. 
  • Please note that Accents is not responsible for lost or stolen packages. If there are issues with your delivery, you are responsible for working with the shipping carrier to find a resolution or filing a claim.  

Once an item purchased in-store leaves our store, Accents is not responsible for the care of that item.

If you receive a damaged product from a web order, we ask that you follow these instructions: 

  • Step 1 - Please do not discard the box, any packing, or the broken item
  • Step 2 - Email a photo of the broken item AND all packaging to info@accentshomeandgifts.com along with your order number.
  • Step 3 - Someone will be in touch with you within 1-3 business days with instructions and information on your replacement. 
  • Once our damage correspondence is complete, and your replacement has been received, you can discard the original item and all packaging. Please understand that we are at the mercy of the shipping companies as we file claims on damaged items. Accents will work diligently to replace your damaged item as quickly as possible
  • When you select local pickup at checkout, we work hard to process your order within 1-2 business days. You will receive an email when your order is ready for pickup. If you would like someone else to pick up your order, just make sure they have your pickup email with them when they arrive. 

Bridal Registry Gift Pickup

  • If you purchase a gift for one of our Accents brides, you will choose local pickup at checkout. Our brides have selected a gift-pickup hostess for their showers and wedding. When you place an order for an Accents bride, we will wrap the gift and notify the bride and her gift-pickup hostess that a gift is ready for pickup. 
  • If you prefer to pick up the gift yourself, please inform us in the notes section of your purchase. 

In-store Return Policy - If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, please let us know within 14 days of purchase. We will be glad to return your item for store credit or merchandise exchange as long as your item complies with our return policy restrictions.

  • Must be returned within 14 days of purchase
  • Must be unused and unworn
  • Must be accompanied by the original packing and have all its components 
  • Must have receipt or gift receipt in hand, or purchase record in Accents computer

Items that do not qualify for returns:

  • Personalized items- Jon Hart, Monogrammed items, Baby door hangers, etc
  • Sale or clearance items purchased at 50% off or more.
  • Special ordered items - items specifically ordered for you.
  • Seasonal items including but not limited to Valentine’s Day, Easter, Summer, Fall/Halloween, and Christmas items

More information:

  • If the purchaser declines to add name and information into the Accents computer, the purchaser understands that the Accents return policy is voided for the transaction in question.
  • If you received a gift you aren’t happy with (excluding our registered brides), please don’t procrastinate if you’d like to return the item. We do adhere to our in-store return policy on gifts. To process a return that was gifted to you, we must have a gift receipt or purchase record information noting who gave you the gift. 
  • Under no circumstances will a refund of your transaction be given. Our return policy is strictly limited to store credit or merchandise exchange. 
  • Return requests over 14 days will not be entertained.

  • Please note that your return/exchange amount will be less your shipping charges, and you are responsible for the return shipping amount. Your replacement merchandise or store credit will be issued when your returned item has been received.

For purchases made between December 1 and December 31, the store return policy will be extended to January 15 of the following calendar year.

  • The Accents in-store and online return policy will be enforced. 
  • NO SEASONAL MERCHANDISE qualifies for return or exchange. 

In-store - To shop our registries in-store, just ask our Accents ladies to see a copy of the registry you’d like to shop. Any of our associates may help you in choosing the perfect gift. 

Online - Active registries are listed on our website, or you can search for the name you are looking for! When you shop for one of our registered brides, please note the following instructions:

  • Gift Pickup- If you purchase a gift for one of our Accents brides, you will choose local pickup at checkout. Our brides have selected a gift-pickup hostess for their showers and wedding. When you place an order for an Accents bride, we will wrap the gift and notify the bride and her gift-pickup hostess that a gift is ready for pickup. 
  • If you prefer to pick up the gift yourself, please inform us in the notes section of your purchase. 
  • Enclosure Card - If you’d like to include a special message on your enclosure card, please add it to the notes panel on the registry or your cart. We will include your enclosure card and a gift receipt in the wrapped gift. 
  • Please include if the gift is for a bride’s shower, the date and location of the shower, or if the gift is for the wedding in the notes section on the registry or your cart. We will inform the bride or gift-pickup hostess when the gift is ready to be picked up.

  • Bridal Registry - Our Accents Bridal Registry is complete with dinnerware, glassware, serve ware, home decor, and more! Customers can shop your registry in-store and online for a great experience purchasing your gifts. To register with Accents, call us to make an appointment or stop by the store.   • Baby Registry - Accents baby registry is a perfect way to add flare to your gift wish list for that baby on the way! With items ranging from practical to frilly, registering with Accents will bring southern charm to your practical registry online. Come in the store and ask our sales team to start your registry.
  • Graduation Registry - In the Spring of each year, Accents hosts a Graduation Registry Party and opens up our gift registry to graduating seniors as they enter the season of senior parties, grad gifts, and graduation celebrations.
  • Gift Wrapping - Accents loves a good presentation! When you receive a gift from our store, we hope it is wrapped to perfection. If your order is a gift for someone else, let us know so we can wrap your order before it is shipped. 
  • Personalized Orders - We offer personalization on Jon Hart luggage, select Christmas ornaments, baby door hangers, and more. Watch our social media for personalization opportunities. Please note, if your order is personalized in any way with hot stamping, monogramming, or any other additions to the original product, it can not be exchanged or returned under any circumstances. Please note that on all personalized orders, we copy the information you provide to us. Be sure that the monogram initials or name spelling is correct when you purchase.
  • Promos, coupon codes, and sales- Accents loves a good sale! Keep in mind that our promotions may be limited to in-store OR online- not all sales will be on both platforms.  You may not combine offers or apply discounts to the purchase of gift cards. With all of our sales, there may be exclusions that we will announce regularly throughout the promotion. All sales are final on sales of 50% off or more. 
  • Backorders- We make our best efforts to keep inventory levels in stock to avoid backorders. From time to time, a backorder may be inevitable. We completely understand if you want to cancel your backordered purchase, just let us know before the item has been shipped and we will work with you.

To start a registry at Accents- Call us at 601.584.4550 or email us at bridal@accentshomeandgifts.com to make an appointment with our Bridal Specialist, or stop by the store during our open hours. Please note, to have enough time to fully experience what our store has to offer for your Bridal Registry, we recommend that you allow for 1.5-2 hours to complete your registry. While we do welcome walk-in brides, making an appointment ensures one-on-one service from our bridal experts to help you curate a bridal registry that reflects your taste and checks all your needs off your wishlist! 

We like to personalize your registry by adding an engagement photo to your online registry. Send us an engagement photo to bridal@accentshomeandgifts.com 

We offer shopping experiences in-store, over the phone, or online making it easy for friends and family to shop your registry selection no matter where they are.

In-Store

  • Your full registry is available to shop in our store. We print your registry on paper with the item photos of the item, prices, and desired quantity. Customers are able to flip through the pages to choose the perfect gift.
  • We display our brides' place settings on our bridal table in our store! We love for our customers to see some of the beautiful pieces you've chosen. We use the photo you provide with your place setting on our display table, as well as on social media and on our website.

Online

  • Around one week after you register in our store, your registry will be available to shop on our website - www.accentshomeandgifts.com
  • Because our online registries are a part of our online store so you may see that some things are missing. Some items will not be on your online registry because they are not able to be on our online store. However, every item is on your in-store registry and can be shopped over the phone

Reasons an item may be missing include: 

  • Inventory: low stock or seasonal inventory 
  • Size: shipping restrictions 
  • Brand restrictions that prohibit web sales 
  • Product images: working to get items photographed or working with brands to get images. When this process is complete, you will receive a follow-up email to let you know. It usually takes around one week from this introductory email for this process to be complete.
  • Changes/Additions- You are welcome to make changes or additions to your registry throughout the registry process! Send us an email at bridal@accentshomeandgifts.com or stop by the store to make your changes. 
  • Inventory - Our inventory team works hard to ensure your registry selection is in stock and ready for purchase by your family and friends. While most items cannot be purchased if they are out of stock, your dinnerware, flatware, and stemware may be backordered by customers. If a customer purchases an out of stock item, you will be gifted a card that states who gifted the item and what they purchased. At the end of your showers and events, you can bring in your exchanges and redeem cards to complete your registry. You must present the card in store for an order to be placed.
  • Exchange Policy: You may exchange any duplicate or unneeded gifts for 60 days past your wedding date. To process your returns, you must have the gift receipt with each gift you need to exchange. You can exchange items for other merchandise or receive store credit to use later.
  • Holiday/Seasonal Merchandise: We are not able to keep seasonal merchandise In stock all year. For that reason, some seasonal merchandise may be removed from your in-store and online registry at the end of the season. Please note that we do not accept seasonal merchandise for return/exchange.
  • Discontinued Items: If your place setting(s) are discontinued, we let you know, and we try to stock enough to complete your registry. If you choose to change dinnerware, we will work to make those adjustments in-store and online, and switch out purchased gifts. Other discontinued items will be removed from your registry.
  • Out Of Stock Items: If we know an item will be out of stock for an extended time, we may remove that item from your registry. When the item comes back in-stock, we will add it back to your list.
  • Hostess Gift Discount: We offer our brides a 15% discount on hostess gifts for your showers! Just let our team member know that you're registered with us to receive your hostess gift discount.
  • Registry Completion Discount: At the end of your wedding celebrations, come in to finish off your registry and receive a one-time 20% off discount on your purchase.
  • Registry gift record- our system allows your registry to remain up to date as purchases are made. 
  • Gift wrapping- Presentation is so important to us at Accents! We wrap each gift that is purchased for you before your wedding. The wrapped gift will include an enclosure card so you know who the gift is from and a gift receipt in case you need to return/exchange the item. Please keep record of who purchased the gift, and keep the gift receipt with the item until all exchanges have been completed. Because multiple stores in our area carry the same lines, we must have a record of each item you wish to return/exchange in order to process that. 
  • Gift pick-up- Each Friday, our team calls all brides who have gifts that are wrapped and ready for pick-up. If you are not local, we ask that you provide us with a contact of someone local who can be responsible for this task. For specific showers, let us know which hostess should be called for pickup.
  • Shower dates- Please keep us informed of shower dates as they are scheduled! We work hard to have your registry as fully stocked as possible. For each shower, we ask that you provide us with a hostess contact who will be responsible for gift pickup for that shower. 
  • Share your registry! You may add your online registry to your wedding website by simply copy and pasting the link on your registry page!
  • Hostess Gift Discount: We offer our brides a 15% discount on hostess gifts for your showers! Just let our team member know that you're registered with us to receive your hostess gift discount.
  • Registry Completion Discount: At the end of your wedding celebrations, come in to finish off your registry and receive a one-time 20% off discount on your purchase.
